Upcoming Holiday Craft Fairs & New Christmas Journals

Even though it's October, I've been working on quite a few different Christmas junk journals and traveler's notebook inserts. In one week I drop off some of my journals at an art gallery--the holiday season is just around the corner!

I now have a dedicated events page to list upcoming and past craft fairs that I've participated in--feel free to view all of the details there. These events can also be found on Etsy Local through my shop page. I don't live in that large of a city, but I want to be able to advertise for local artists and venues and keep track of my own accomplishments as well as possible.

For the gallery show I made three Christmas journals that haven't been listed online. Two of them were made from Little Golden Books and one is a Reader's Digest Condensed Book. Each one has vintage elements and is heavily inspired by vintage aesthetics. The Reader's Digest journal is fully embellished and the Little Golden journals come with Christmas themed journaling kits.

I also wanted to make a few deluxe traveler's notebook inserts specifically for Etsy. I haven't personally logged for December Dailies, but it's such a cute idea that I wanted to make a few fancy notebooks specifically for the occasion. Of course, they could always be used in other ways as well, such as a holiday trip or just to display family photos. There are currently two A5 (No. 8) and two B6 (No. 5) sized notebooks available on Etsy. I may make more in other sizes, but it will be a few weeks before they're finished.

Whether you are shopping locally or online this season, here are a few dates to keep in mind: • Holiday Bazaar craft fair: Saturday, November 3 • Holiday Market gallery show: Sunday, November 4 through Wednesday, December 19 • Shipping deadline (custom listings): confirm details and pay by Friday, November 16 (processing times vary between 10 and 14 business days) • Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales weekend: November 23 through November 26 (all orders ship on Tuesday, November 27) • Shipping deadline (pre-made listings): order by Wednesday, December 12

Just in case you love autumn more than Christmas (I do, but I had to get ahead this year!), I'm in the process of making a Halloween junk journal and one or two autumn ones (one for Etsy and one for the Holiday Market). They should be available by Friday afternoon.
