Based in Central Arizona, Home Bound Journals began as a sale booth at an annual craft fair. My first products were soy wax candles poured in repurposed teacups found at local thrift shops. I’ve experimented with a lot of mediums since then (and have even undergone a name change!), and now focus on paper based crafts. 

 

I’m always looking for new ways to use items that are often thrown in the trash without a second thought. Many of my materials come from local thrift stores, garage sales, or the used book section of the library. I'm always on the lookout for vintage field guides, lace ribbon, and sewing patterns.
