Introducing Journal Kits! I recently made a ton of journaling cards with all of the paper leftovers from all of my recent journals and notebooks. I've been planning on selling journal kits for quite a while but just now finished some enough to be listed. The cards come in themed bundles of 18 and measure approximately 4" x 3", which is a pretty standard journal card (based off of the popular Project Life sets). I've found most of my vintage postcards at local antique stores and get them solely for embellishing junk journals and notebooks. I also recently acquired a large assortment of unused vintage English postcards--mostly with real black-and-white photographs. Although having a blank back is ideal, it's also fun to include long-forgotten messages. This castle postcard in particular has the loveliest handwriting. It was included in the recently sold Storybook junk journal.
The following three postcards are available for download as PNG images via Google Drive (but you shouldn't need an account to view them). A few of these went into junk journals, and some will be available in future digital download packs--consider it a preview. Feel free to use them in personal digital artworks or print them out for journaling. Each piece is separate to download, whether you only want one image or all six.
With these vintage postcard freebies, I am excited to announce my new purchasable printables! There will be two different packs to start with, either postcard backs or postcard sets (matching fronts and backs). They will be available on Etsy on Friday, September 21 (along with a few other lovely new items--more details coming soon).
