Time for another crafty blog post. All I've been working on since the last one is wedding decor, so here's some more! Aside from all of the millions of things that needed to be printed, I also spent time making bouquets, boutonnieres, and hairpieces for the unofficial wedding party. Although the six of us haven't been using official terms, we'll still be the youngest adults there and might as well look fancy and stand out!

I made all of the floral accents with simple ribbons roses, greens, and faux succulents. The succulents were the only thing I couldn't find in town so I ordered some from Dirt Couture on Etsy. They're a little more than I wanted to spend but completely worth it. The succulents are realistic, great quality, and are easy to work with. The larger one (pictured in the bouquet) came on a floral-wrapped stem, which was perfect. The little ones (pictured on the boutonniere and hair combs) were on a mini tree and the branches were easy to cut and reshape into what was needed.

These marquee letters were store-bought, but I did add the scrapbook paper behind the lights. The "&" needs some new batteries, but all in all they look pretty good.

This will most likely be the last wedding-themed blog post aside from tutorials. My only intention is to show how fun it can be to make your own accents, as well as give resources that aren't as common or easy to find.

But just in case I do another wedding post, it will be of the set up on the day of the reception, just to show how everything pieced together.
